BlueBird 6 Launches!

AST SpaceMobile has successfully launched BlueBird 6, opening the next chapter of its direct-to-device satellite program and building on the momentum established by the BlueBird 1–5 mission.

The satellite lifted off aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40, with launch and deployment proceeding as planned. BlueBird 6 is the first of AST SpaceMobile’s next-generation satellites, designed to scale capacity and move the network closer to sustained commercial service.

On a personal note, this launch is one I’ve been looking forward to. Adding BlueBird 6 into my LEO tracking setup feels like a milestone of its own—another real piece of the constellation now moving across the sky, not just a roadmap slide or concept render.

With BlueBird 6 now on orbit, AST SpaceMobile takes a clear step forward toward expanding coverage and turning direct-to-device connectivity into something people can actually experience, not just imagine.
