About Me

I’ve always been drawn to systems that move, communicate, and exist just slightly out of reach. That interest spans networks, satellites, and the hardware we use to interact with them. ASTTrak started as a personal curiosity. I wanted a clean, real-time way to visualize where AST SpaceMobile’s BlueBird satellites actually are, how they move, and how they relate to the planet beneath them. What began as a small experiment quickly turned into a full tracking project built around live orbital data and interactive visualization.

My background is rooted in IT and technical problem-solving, and I tend to learn by building things myself. ASTTrak reflects that mindset. The site is built using custom HTML, JavaScript, and publicly available orbital data to render a live, globe-based view of low Earth orbit satellites. I’m not affiliated with AST SpaceMobile. This is strictly an enthusiast project driven by curiosity around direct-to-device satellite connectivity and what it could mean for the future of global communications.

Outside of ASTTrak, I work on a few other projects that follow the same hands-on philosophy. HandheldModz.com focuses on handheld gaming devices, modifications, and community-driven guides. TheUnshaped.com is home to a long-running Dungeons & Dragons campaign where I combine world-building, storytelling, and light technical experimentation. While these projects are very different on the surface, they all come from the same place: learning by doing and building things meant to be explored.

ASTTrak will continue to evolve as new satellites launch and the technology behind them grows. If you’re here because you’re curious about satellite motion, direct-to-cell networks, or just enjoy watching complex systems work in real time, you’re in the right place.
